Ed Cunningham, R.N., M.Ac., Dipl.Ac. practices acupuncture in the Philadelphia area. He began his study of acupuncture in 1997 after his own transformative experience with Asian medicine. He studied at TAI/Sophia Institute, the first school in the country to issue a Masters Degree in Acupuncture. In addition to his private practice, Ed was selected as The Founding Director of Clinical Education and Services at The Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, Pa. This is the first acupuncture school in Pennsylvania.

Ed has worked in Western Healthcare since 1974. He has been a nurse for over 25 years. Ed has extensive experience in psychiatric nursing and group therapy with adults and children. He has worked for over 10 years in a critical care setting in a university hospital. Ed has taught nurses, medical students, and residents, and has been a hospital administrator.
